Emotions In Notation: Pancho Vladigerov's Classical and Romantic, Op. 24
In partnership with House Museum Pancho Vladigerov – Sofia, the Department of Music and Multimedia Technologies at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" produced the audio-visual project Emotions in Notation, which included a sound recording of pieces from Vladigerov's cycle Classical and Romantic, Op. 24, a premiere in the form of a morning concert-matinee, and the launch of a CD dedicated to the composer's work.
In the intimate atmosphere of the composer's historic home, performances were given by faculty members and students from the Bachelor's Programs of Music and Music Media Technologies and Sound Engineering at the Faculty of Educational Studies and The Arts.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ralitsa Dimitrova, Buden Stoyanov, Polina Mladenova, and Viktoria Budurova interpreted pieces from Vladigerov's Classical and Romantic on the composer's personal piano, presenting them with equal respect for tradition and a fresh artistic vision.
The project was funded by targeted allocations from the state budget of Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" for scientific research under Contract 80-10-17 dated May 21, 2025.
